Whether you are an established or emerging leader at work or in your community, in this practical and highly-interactive program, you will acquire the self-confidence, knowledge, skills and tools to help you be as effective as possible in working with others to create positive change.

This ten-day, four-month developmental experience focuses on five “leadership domains:” intrapersonal, interpersonal, group, organizational, and community. For specific learning objectives within each domain please download this document of the five leadership domains.

By the end of this program you will have:

  • Greater understanding of your own leadership gifts and challenges;
  • Improved effectiveness in interpersonal interactions, including the most difficult ones;
  • Increased ability to create and lead high-performance teams;
  • Expertise to design and lead meetings that result in smart decisions and commitment to action;
  • Increased ability to plan and create change in communities and organizations;
  • A plan to continue to strengthen your leadership capabilities and a network of colleagues to support your continued growth and learning.

Specific dates and applications for this annual program are available on-line at www.cascadialeadership.org. We accept a maximum of 28 participants annually. All sessions are held at the Humboldt Area Foundation (HAF) in Bayside, CA. HAF created this program and has continued to support it since 2000.
